SHANGHAI, China (AP) - Tiger Woods' winning streak is over.

Yang Yong-eun, a regular on the Japanese tour who has played infrequently outside Asia, closed with a 3-under 69 Sunday for a 14-under 274 and a two stroke victory over Woods at the HSBC Champions tournament.
Woods, who won six consecutive stroke events on the U.S. PGA Tour before taking a five-week sabbatical leading into the this tournament, started the day five shots back and never really threatened to overtake Yang. Woods birdied the 14th, 16th and 18th holes - including a...

Padraig Harrington, winless in his five matches at the Ryder Cup while coping with the pressure of playing before an Irish crowd, felt more at ease at the Grove on his way to a bogey-free 64, which left him tied with Ian Poulter.
Stewart Cink and Ernie Els were at 65.

The first...

Tiger Woods believes curing America's Ryder Cup ills requires an infusion of good young players, getting off to better starts in the matches, a true home-course advantage - and making timely putts.
After he and his teammates joined the triumphant European players in their celebration party the previous evening, Woods dissected the latest lopsided loss by the Americans.

"They have a younger crop of players that are playing well. When our youngest player is 30 years old, that's not a positive thing," the 30-year-old Woods said Monday in a...
